This is our own housedog Loke. He is strong, explosive, has immense prey drive, an iron will, is dominant around other dogs and weighs 27kg´s when rock hard. In short he´s not a dog that takes any shit. My children can at any time put their hands in his dinner or remove anything right out of his mouth. If they get to close when he´s hanging of a branch or springpole he immediately stops shaking said object, still hangs on - but remains still (apart from the tail wagging). Whatever my children do it never startles or upsets him. He is sure of himself, loves his family and knows his place.
A lot of people misstake prey drive for uncontrollable aggression. Loke is living proof that this notion is absolutely ridiculous as had that been true, he would not be living with us today.
Every dog that I have had from puppy stage has been this way regardless of their breeding and I would never accept anything else.
